In loving memory of my father, Ned P. Masbaum, M.D. & Volunteer M.D. Bahama Islands (1938-2023). The luckiest son in the world, to have had such a wonderful father. His favorite Movie was Dr. Strangelove (a classic comedy film created in order to calm fears of atomic warfare during an era where so many Americans were very fearful).
In most recent years, my father's funniest quote, brought about calmness to so many, "Unfortunately, all of that 1984 George Orwell garbage is here."
Whenever any of us 3 worried about not earning enough money, my father always calmed fears in the most strategic ways (born into poverty), as he always said, "It's only money."

My late newphew, Fulton Masbaum faithfully served his country (far right in photo above) & was Honorably Discharged per his DD 214 Form.
Fulton loved a "Steele Horse" Motorcycle, a true American Patriot.
Fulton & his group of friends were like the real life TV show, "The Unit." He is "Gone, but Not Forgotten." Please see flag below, which without question, applies to him for serving his Country.
Fulton was very close to his late grandfather (Ned P. Masbaum, M.D.), & he during his upbringing, (same as myself), served as alter boy, which brought so much happiness to his late grandfather at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. It should be noted that he served as an alter boy more times than myself as a very serious no joke.

Let us never forget CPD's most intelligent & brave Police Officer, Greg Dawson (Ret.). Per his very own life saving words, "Sometimes it's not what you think it's all about." Not too long after that, I became all too familiar with the phrase heard elsewhere, "They are called Psychics at the Pentagon." Oh well, so much for the "Code of Silence" in the world of Police. lol

The Indiana Legion, "A Civil War Militia." was a book written by John P. Etter, Deacon. Carmel Police Department Major (Ret). He grew up in Fountain Square on Orange Street, and started his career as dispatcher and is a FBI Academy graduate with 29 years (minimum, possibly more) of service to CPD.
In addition, a pleasure to have known Special Agent, Timothy Pitchford, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Indianapolis Field Office (Minton-Capehart Federal Building).
Grateful to have worked for (the late) 1st Sgt. Bob Miles & Bruce Bryant, General Head Quarters (GHQ) of Indiana State Police, Firearms Division.
